A verifiable reference

Important assertions should point to a specific document: URL, title, known author/date, original language and access date. A current catalogue documents a current offering; it does not alone establish a lineage’s historical creation.

Rights and access

External databases support discovery and manual research. Scraping or cloning SeedFinder, Leafly or Strainly is not authorized by default. Documented permission must cover the exact proposed use.

Attribution

A short contextual citation is not permission to reproduce imagery or a database. Private evidence and internal legal notes are not exposed publicly.
