Translate without losing a qualification

Translation is part of editorial review: meaning, scope, sources and open questions.

A translation should make the same question accessible in another language. To prepare an edition, we start from the French text and keep an explicit link to its version.

Our comparative review

We examine the source sentence alongside its translation. We check the subject, the meaning of terms, cautious formulations and references. We adapt expressions for natural reading without broadening the conclusion.

Names and links

Navigation labels are adapted to the language. Organisation names remain identifiable. A link may lead to a document in another language: we then try to identify that source's language.

After a French correction

The platform hides published translations no longer linked to the current French version. The editorial team must review them before bringing them back online. This mechanism signals work to do; it does not replace comparing the texts.
